Introduction

1. Western Transfer Buffer can be used for Western wet electro-transfer membrane.

2. This Western Transfer Buffer is a safe and non-toxic, no highly toxic methanol and other toxic reagents are used.

4. It can be recycled and can be used 2-3 times after recycling.

Kit Components

Protocol

1. Take a bottle of powder that can make 1L of western transfer buffer, pour it into a clean beaker, add distilled water to about 700 ml, and then dissolve it.

2. Add 200 ml of absolute ethanol or 210 ml of 95% ethanol, and mix well.

3. Make the volume to 1L​​​​​​​ in a graduated cylinder with distilled water. It can be used after mixing. Unused buffer can be stored at room temperature, usually within two weeks can be used. When the color of the buffer changes to light brown or yellowish brown, it should be discarded.

Notes

1. If the color of the buffer becomes light brown or yellowish brown, it should be discarded.
2. It is recommended to use analytical grade ethanol or higher purity ethanol.
