Introduction

1. The TMB Substrate contains 110 ml TMB Substrate A and 110 ml TMB Substrate B, sufficient for HRP conjugated ELISA.
2. TMB Substrate A is formulated with hydrogen peroxide; TMB Substrate B is formulated with 3, 3', 5, 5' tetramethyl benzidine (TMB). TMB is the substrate of horseradish peroxidase (HRP). The substrate can be catalyzed with peroxidase to produce a pale blue color. The color is positively correlated with HRP activity, which can be used to detect HRP markers.

Application

1. This product is suitable for HRP conjugated ELISA test.
2. The TMB and hydrogen peroxide of this set, TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color solution with an O.D. peaks at 370nm ~ 650nm.
3. The O.D. at 650nm can be directly detected by dynamic test.
4. Add stop solution, test with end-point method. If choose 0.1% NaF as stop solution, the color of TMB remains the same after termination, then read the O.D. at 650nm, or judged by visual observation. If choose acidic stop as solution, the color changes into yellow, then, read the O.D. value at 450nm.
