Description

This kit can efficiently purify >15nt single- or double-stranded DNA and RNA using a special binding buffer. It is especially suitable for recovering small fragments of labeled probes from the mixture of labeling reactions (digoxigenin labeling, isotope labeling, biotin labeling, etc.) to remove unreacted nucleotides, short oligos, dyes, enzymes, salt ions, etc.  Typical recoveries are as high as 80-90% with 10µg of DNA per spin column.  The RNA or DNA recovered by this kit can be used for in Situ Hybridization, Northern blot, RNAi, Gel shiftassay, Ligation, Sequencing, Microarray analysis and other experiments.
