Application: Use for amplification of shorter fragments of PAGE gel, the length of amplification ≤ 3kb.
Note: This product contains cresol red, and the color can vary between orange and purple. The color change will not affect the product quality.
Description: 2xTaq MasterMix is a premixed 2xconcentrated solution of Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs , reaction buffer, MgCl2 and stabilizers. 2xTaq Master Mix contains all components for PCR, except DNA template and primers. It is ideally suited to routine PCR applications from templates including pure DNA solutions, bacterial colonies, and cDNA products. It can amplify up to 4 kb from genomic DNA or up to 5 kb from lambda DNA. For a 50 μl reaction, simply add 25 μl of 2xTaq MasterMix to primers, DNA template and PCR-Qualified H2O.
Examples of reaction

1. Use genomic DNA as template to amplify 1kb fragment, the reaction system is 25µl. (If the reaction system is different, increase or decrease according to this ratio).
