Introduction
1. AEC is a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical staining. AEC produces a red end product that is soluble in alcohol and must be used with an aqueous counterstain and mounting media.
2. 3 amino9 ethyl carbazole (AEC) is one of the important Chromogenic reagent of peroxidase with the color of bright red. It can be used for immunohistochemistry and spot detection. The disadvantage of AEC is that it is soluble in organic solvents and must be sealed by water-soluble sealants.

Protocol
1. Wash with TBS or PBS for 4 times, 5 minutes each after the peroxidase detection.
